      • Shared Characteristics of the whole area: Obviously Shanghai speaks generally the same language as most of the other provinces in China. However, there are little differences in how they speak for other Chinese people.
      • Land Area: 6,340 Km. In Shanghai there is Shanghai City and it's surrounding suburbs with an agricultural hinterland. Shanghai is China's most populated area.

Interesting Facts

1. Main tourist attractions are The Bund and The Yuyuan Garden.
2. Has several sports teams, including Shanghai Shenhua football team, Shanghai Sharks which play in the Chinese Basketball Association, an ice hockey team, called China Dragon, and a baseball team the, Shanghai Golden Eagles.
3. The Shanghai Disneyland Resort is currently under construction and is supposed to be ready in 2013.
